Line Cook/ Food Preparation

Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Food Preparation Individual to join our health food restaurant. In this role, you will be responsible for cooking necessary items, making dressings, and preparing all fresh ingredients to ensure high-quality dishes are served to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of healthy menu items in accordance with restaurant standards
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain consistency in food quality
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
• Assist in storing and organizing ingredients to ensure efficient kitchen operations
• Collaborate with the culinary team to innovate and enhance menu offerings
• Maintain knowledge of current menu items, specials, and ingredients

Requirements:

• Proven experience in food preparation, preferably in a health food restaurant or similar environment
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
