District Manager Duties: The District Manager will be responsible for the oversight of operational excellence, financial performance, and customer satisfaction within a designated territory. This position requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage a team of employees and property managers, while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
You will:
- Understand and align with the organization’s mission, vision, strategy, culture, goals, and objectives.
- Conduct quarterly meetings with managers to address current issues and align strategies.
- Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team of employees and property managers.
- Ensure district-wide customer satisfaction, product quality, and safety/security standards are met.
- Implement and maintain procedures and controls to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support sales efforts by executing sales strategies and initiatives.
- Quickly and effectively resolve customer concerns or issues.
- Conduct monthly property audits to ensure compliance with operational standards.
- Communicate effectively with employees, colleagues, and customers.
- Conduct yearly performance reviews for employees.
- Assist in acquisitions due diligence and integration processes.
- Conduct property visits as necessary to optimize property performance.
- Undertake other assignments as directed by the Senior VP of Operations.
You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Business or related field.
- 7+ years’ experience in multi-unit management experience.
- Ability to work within a functional organizational structure and collaborating across departments.
- Proven Experience in recognizing and addressing team improvement opportunities and making tough staffing decisions.
- Experience in managing a diverse workforce.
- Strong financial management skills, including financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to develop and enhance relationships with direct reports and stakeholders.
- Effective leadership and management skills, including recruiting, hiring, coaching, and mentoring.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
