Construction Pipelayer

At Integrated Water Services (IWS), we make water better!  In business for over 20 years, we provide our customers with solutions to manage drinking and wastewater, to protect people and the environment.  We serve clients ranging from real estate developers, governments, and food and beverage and industrial manufacturers.  And we are growing!

IWS is looking for an pipelayer to support the growth of the company who has experience installing exterior yard pipe and interior process pipe.  

Responsibilities include:

• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications, by threading joints and assembling flanged joints.
• Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipe lines, using pressure gauge, observation, or other methods.
• Plan pipe system layout and installation according to specifications and approved pipe drawings.
• Cut and bore holes in structures, such as bulkheads, decks, walls, and mains, prior to pipe installation, using hand and power tools.

The ideal candidate will have:

• High school degree or equivalent educational experience; vocational school or trade apprenticeships a plus
• 3+ years of construction experience
• Construction experience with water/wastewater treatment plants strongly preferred.
• Experience working with exterior yard pipe and interior process pipe
• Knowledge of the assembly of PVC, DIP pipe underground and inside the building 
• Experience operating a demo saw 
• Familiar with construction methods, techniques, and labor requirements and how they apply to industrial construction projects.

Wage range:  $22-$28 / hour
