Nurse Practitoner (Tattoo Removal)

A-Line Staffing is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated healthcare team within the correctional setting. As a Correctional Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in delivering advanced healthcare services to incarcerated individuals, addressing their unique medical needs while maintaining a secure and controlled environment.

NP must have Tattoo Removal Experience!

Responsibilities:

1. Health Assessments: Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including physical examinations, history-taking, and diagnostic evaluations, to formulate accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.

2. Chronic Disease Management: Manage and coordinate care for inmates with chronic health conditions, collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize health outcomes.

3. Medication Management: Prescribe and administer medications, ensuring adherence to established protocols, monitoring for efficacy, and addressing any potential side effects or contraindications.

4. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies, coordinating with correctional officers and healthcare staff to provide immediate care, stabilize patients, and facilitate further treatment as necessary.

5. Health Education: Provide health education and counseling to inmates, promoting wellness, disease prevention, and addressing lifestyle factors affecting health.

6. Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, mental health professionals, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement comprehensive and individualized care plans.

7. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records, documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.

8. Mental Health Support: Assess and provide mental health support to inmates, collaborating with mental health professionals to address psychiatric and psychological needs.

Pay Rate: 60-65.00 depending on experience - room for more potentially as well

Qualifications:

• Current Nurse Practitioner license and certification in the state of OHIO.
• Ability to work effectively in a secure and controlled environment.
• Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
