Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable PTA to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a license in NJ and be willing to work in an outpatient setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' physical conditions and needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment and goals
- Implement therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Monitor patient progress regularly and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals and outcomes
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies
Skills:
- Proficiency in outpatient physical therapy
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Experience in manual therapy
- Ability to work with pediatric patients
- Excellent patient care skills
